Brian McEnteer, Chief Operating Officer/ General Manager

A hospitality veteran and private club expert who holds more than four decades of experience in the industry, Brian McEnteer joined Burlingame Country Club in April of 2014. In his role as General Manager/COO, McEnteer oversees day-to-day operations, including management of the club executive team and more than 50 club employees, as well as the rollout of a multi-million-dollar renovations program in 2017 and 2018. The renovations included a completely new main kitchen, roof replacement, new bar and lounge and dining areas.

Prior to his current role at BCC, McEnteer served as Assistant General Manager at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. Before changing his career path in 1999, McEnteer was an Executive Chef at boutique restaurants, private clubs and hotels in Connecticut and New York City. Early in his culinary career, Brian was employed by the Helmsley family in NYC to work in the exclusive Park Lane Hotel and in their private residence.

Today, when he is not tending his member’s needs, he enjoys cooking for his wife, working in his shop, shopping on Amazon and patiently waiting on grandchildren.
