Brian McEnteer
Chief Operating Officer/General Manager

Brian McEnteer is a seasoned hospitality professional with over four decades of experience, currently serving as the General Manager/COO of Burlingame Country Club (BCC). Since joining BCC in April 2014, McEnteer has been instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of the club, managing an executive team, and leading more than 50 employees. His tenure has been marked by significant infrastructure improvements, including the rollout of a multi-million-dollar renovation project. These upgrades encompassed a completely new main kitchen, roof replacement, and the addition of new bar, lounge, and dining areas. Notably, the club introduced “Elevation 3042,” a new restaurant, a renovated wellness center, and a greatly expanded lawn sports complex featuring tennis, pickleball, and croquet facilities.

Before his role at BCC, McEnteer served as the Assistant General Manager at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. His journey in the hospitality industry began in a different capacity; before 1999, he was an Executive Chef at various boutique restaurants, private clubs, and hotels in Connecticut and New York City. A highlight of his early career was his employment by the Helmsley family, where he worked at the prestigious Park Lane Hotel and their private residence in New York City. This extensive culinary background provided McEnteer with a unique perspective and skill set that he has since applied to his management roles in the private club sector.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, McEnteer enjoys a fulfilling personal life. He takes pleasure in cooking for his wife, tinkering in his shop, and indulging in online shopping on Amazon. Recently, he has embraced the joy of spending quality time with his new granddaughter, adding a delightful dimension to his life outside of work. His multifaceted career and personal interests paint a picture of a dedicated and well-rounded individual who brings passion and expertise to everything he does.
